One Ninety Catering, by Chef Alan Hughes, offering world class catering cuisine for productions events, dinner and cocktail parties, holiday celebrations, as well barbecues and signature boxed lunches.

With over 20 year of extensive worldwide culinary experience, Executive Chef and Owner Alan Hugheshas consulted for a variety of restaurants, attended numerous conferences in Europe and the Americas, and made multiple television appearances.

He began his culinary career at the age of 18 with an apprenticeship to Argentina’s premier chef; Francis Mallmann. After refining his skills in Spain, he later moved to New York where he graduated from The French Culinary Institute. He was invited to present his celebrated cuisine as Guest Chef at The James Beard Foundation in New York.

He has also cooked for various restaurants in New York, Ibiza, Mexico, Haiti, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Cannes, Jamaica, and Miami. He is constantly expanding his repertoire of techniques and culinary trends. His ideas, like his ingredients, are fresh and inspired.

One Ninety Catering is a division of the successful One Ninety Restaurant in Buena Vista, Miami. The new One Ninety in Little Haiti will feature Alan’s unique style and approach to food. His obsession with freshness allows him to maximize the flavors and textures of his dishes while remaining true to his belief simple foods with eclectic twists yield the most satisfying culinary experiences.It is through this belief that he has earned his reputation as an innovator and a master chef.
